steering colum interchange
i have a 69 f-250 camper special with a column shift automatic the turn signals don't work and most of the electrical under the dash is shot or just wore out. the previous steering column was broke by the original owner, he tried to take the steering wheel off with a hammer and when that didn't work he threw the hammer through the windshield. then i bought it and tried to fix it when i was mad at my wife and tightened the nut down with an impact driver, i sure showed her. i got pretty good at putting these steering columns together, especially those little square-headed bolts then i overtightened the nut and went past the end. the columns in the wrecking yards are getting few and far between so i was wondering what other years will fit?

-77 Has the nutrual safety switch on the column. 78 -79 its on the trans. all could bolt in if t=you have the ford gearbox. Bendix box columns are different length. I put the hole 77 set up in my 68 power steering and power disc brakes. 78-79 steering wheels are different then 77 and older. and you would have to splice the wires for turn signals
