APIM original firmware

Is there a way to load original firmware? I tried loading from a new APIM and now it won’t boot.

When you say original I think embedded and VERY difficult to add, delete or modify. When you do a firmware it is different from just doing a routine updat. Also it does not port.

I think a trip to your local dealer is in your future or some serious time working with FORScan.

Don’t know much about this but couldn’t you load sync version 3.4 as outlined in this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...te-how-to.html

at least just to unbrick your sync

edit: it’s a complete reflash of firmware i believe

if you can go in at the machine code level and you probably can embedded software is generally machine code or at least it was my day and you can break in those I’ve done it back before I retired in 2000.
