Ford Centurion help
I live in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia and I'm new to owning a Ford truck and a diesel. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and a big fire truck nerd. I had the opportunity several months ago to acquire a rare Centurion from a local fire department. My family and I absolutely love this truck!
SERV (Special Emergency Response Vehicle) 55 is a 1990 Ford C-350/Centurion that was outfitted by Swab Wagon Company. It was originally delivered to the Friendship Fire Company in Winchester, Virginia. It was then sold to Bertgton, Virginia, in Rockingham County. I bought it from Bergton this past summer. It has a 7.3 IDI and a removable 3rd row bench seat. The thing is essentially an enclosed pick-up when the bench is out and the middle rows are folded up.
I've done some research on these vehicles and understand they are pretty rare, they were even more uncommon in the fire service. I am not at all mechanically inclined and am very much a newbie when it comes to having a diesel vehicle, I'm hoping to learn a lot from the members of this group.
I've been slowly working on the truck (minor things here and there) and have one item that is driving me crazy. I cannot find solid fastening rivets for the fusebox cover located underneath the steering wheel. I've tried 3-4 different styles from Advanced Auto Parts, and nothing works. I've tried looking things up online, but to no avail. Can anybody give me some suggestions on hardware I can use to fasten the cover? When I bought the truck, the cover was loose in the back seat.
Here is the photo:

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, your truck, as it stands, is pretty rare. As you have learned, they were built in the after market and not by Ford. That said, with the exception of the extra sheet metal, it's all Ford. You can probably find the answers you seek in the Older, Classic and Antique Truck section.
Don't forget to check out your state chapter too.
Welcome to FTE
I had a 1987 F250 Centurion that was mostly a bunch of bolt on chrome and a fancy interior with wood trim.
On mine the fuse box panel was help on with different camlocs than what it came with, mine came from Fastenal took longer to find a parking spot than it did to find the Camlocs.
Look on Ebay there are a few covers on there so you can see what you actually need.
