actually bought a Ford :)
Good afternoon all,
just came across this site browsing the net on info about my new to me truck.
short history-
I've owned a 98 Nissan Frontier 4x4 xe for 11 years, for the last 6 years it has served as "the family truck" for truck needs and mainly my Off Road play toy. it has had many mods for off road purposes. and for the last 4 years I've owned a Mazda Protege for my Daily driver.
Just 2 weeks ago I traded in the protege for a new Daily driver + Family truck.
I have a very pretty new to me 2005 F150 Lariat 4x4 4 door. it was company owned so only the main managment drove it to construction sites, it was never actually used for hard work though. I know the previous owners thats how I new this deal was going to be at which dealer.
anyway, the new plan is to retire the Frontier from its "truck" duties and let it focus on its off road plans.
Im currently redecking a 14ft trailer, as the Ford will be towing the Nissan to the off road parks.
can't wait for better weather so i can get the action happening a little faster.
i'm sure ill be posting up when I need advice or see some i can give,
a few pictures to help tell the story
