Well, as as my luck usually goes, I replaced the 2 resisters and 3 capacitors and I'm still getting code 91 and then 11 so I guess there was more to it so I tried jumping the #1 solenoid at the ecm harness with the relay jumped and sure enough, no click. Checked continuity and there's nothing so there must be a break/short in the wire somewhere. Only thing I can think to do would be to replace the entire wire from the ecm to the solenoid pack connector. Hopefully this finally fixes it....maybe?? Wish me luck.
With the relay jumped you should get about 6v to ground on solenoid 1 pin. (Or a dim lit test light. If you run a ground wire down underneath you should faintly here it click. It will take a second to reset. Is that how you did it? It doesnt take long to pull the harness after the 3rd or 4th time.
Cut about a foot out since the wires were corroded under the insulation and patched em and now I have 1st gear! What a major PITA this was to figure out. Bad plug, Bad ECM and bad wires.

I jumped the relay and ran a ground wire touched pin 52 on the ECM plug and didn't hear anything. Tried pin 19-(2nd gear) and heard a click so I figured it was a wire. Luckily I found the bad spot right away.
Yea. I thought about trying that but chickened out. I still have it so I still might for a spare. I never have been to good at soldering though.
It actually wasn't hard at all. The solder points were spaced out pretty good. If you happen to need the same resisters/capacitors I changed, let me know and I can throw some in an envelope and send em to you.
