Keyless entry/start

PSA

My '17 with keyless start has a well in the front cupholder that enables you to start the truck with a dead remote.
My Wife's '14 Edge does not have a place to read her remote.
Her remote died.
She walked home...I was at work and she didn't call.

If your vehicle or your spouses vehicle does not have a built in reader, change the battery (and/or show them how).
Then put a spare battery in the glovebox.

Backup slot for intelli key is in the front of center counsel storage compartment. Page 165 of ‘14 Edge owners manual.

LOL, you are right and she is pissed.
She looked in her manual and couldn't find it.

I told her if she had called me, I would have told her to go back in the store and get a battery.
She had her manual open to the page that shows her how to change the battery.
