2010 3V Timing Mistake Question
2010 5.4 3V, would run but no power, scanner showed misfires on cylinder 5/8 on live data. Pulled timing cover, passenger side guide was gone and large pieces stuck in the chain. Now the real issue, planned on putting on new gears, chains, tensioners, guides, etc. Yanked all the front parts off without putting the crank to the 11 o clock keyway(6 o clock dot, pointing down) before doing so. Now how am I going to rotate everything to get it in the correct order, is there anyway this can be done without pulling followers because I really don't want to buy a $80 tool because I don't have time to wait on it. BTW, I repeat, I'm an idiot, I know I'm not going to get lucky on this because I never do. I just hope I don't have to pull the cams and start from scratch and buy that follower removal/keeper tool and have to worry about getting it right to keep the keepers from falling off.
Pray for me
