Just a driver side camshaft question 1999 5.4 v8 2valve

I had a timing chain snap on the driver side it took out the guides well I replaced the timing chain guides tensioners etc... I'm timing the engine now I need to know when the chain is still on the passenger side cam and crank but not on the driver side .. if I set the crank to tdc with the passenger cam still connected what should I do with the driver cam where should it be set and how do I know what is intake and exhaust. And I need to know what piston on the driver side would be up if the passenger side #1 is tdc it may be hard to follow but it's the first time I've had to do a timing chain and I know there isn't any valve to piston damage
