96' F150 error code P0414 ??????
I have a 1996 F-150 ext cab (302). I have been trying to get rid of a solid check engine light without much success.
Error code:
P0414 Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Shorted
I've changed the EGR and a check valve. It's still running good but, my gas mileage has degraded.
I would appreciate any help offered!

Thanks for the help!
I have been looking at the air injection system for something obvious. The air check valve that I replaced was on the output line of the smog pump. I'll check the TAD and TAB and go from there.
