Rear sump pan kit

I have a 78 f250 4wd with a 460 swap. I don't have any clearance issues with the pan and front diff but i havent really had it off road since I have owned it. I just dont want to have any issues so I thought 130 bucks isnt bad for piece of mind. I found this kit and was wondering if it's the right one to use.

Get a junkyard OBS 460 truck oil pan. '92-'96 f250 or 350 with a 460. Take the pickup tube also and you will need a new oil pump. Mou ting for the pickup is different.

That one listed is a Windsor pan, x2 On what hivoltj said also any 83 up 460 pick up and I think 77 up E series van.

Even the 2wd 83 up had the center sump pan

My motor is a 72. Not sure if the newer pans fit.

1975/91 E250/350 460 pan, pickup tube, special stud to attach it to #3 crank journal.

When I put the 460 into my 77 F150 4x4 and used the Ford Performance M-6675-A460 pan kit. Came with everything that you need.

The only difference I can think of in pans is the 2 bolt's that go into the timing cover are different sizes from early to late.

Correct...on the corner bolts of the pan you have to open up the reinforced hole in the pan gasket. If I recall correctly I used a step drill and held the gasket against a piece of cardboard with a block of wood under it for support. I went in about half way and then flipped the gasket over and came from the other side. You have to hold the pan gasket tight so it doesn’t grab and spin on you. Take your time and it will all turn out with no issues.
