easy question

Trying to get my truck back on the road. I've made a lot of progress and am down to the turbo. Razzi is rebuilding mine, but he's had to work at his real job a lot so it's taking time. While i waited, I bought a used turbo locally and put it on. My truck ran great, I could really tell that I'd fixed the problem. However, that turbo was stuck too, so I wasn't getting boost. But the oil leaks stopped, and the shudder when I came to a stop.

So anyway, Razzi finally got mine torn down and cleaned up. He confirmed that the outer seal was leaking bad - that was my oil leak. As he was putting it back together however, the new shaft seal was too small. I bought the kit from KC Turbos. Never got them to answer chat or email messages to recommend which one, so I just pulled the trigger on the standard 270 kit and ordered it online. Razzi suggested I try their Facebook page instead and I left a detailed message there Friday, but haven't gotten a response from there either, although it is the holiday.

My question: I'm going to call them in the morning (not sure why I didn't see their phone the first time, except that it's not on the Contact Us page. I now see it on their Home page), but as I look at the Product page, none of the parts are called a shaft seal, which is Razzi's term. I think I see the part in the pic, but none of the parts listed sound like it. Can anyone tell me what I'm trying to get them to send me? Here's the link to the product page:

https://kcturbos.com/collections/6-0...-0-270-rebuild

I couldn't get Razzi's pic to upload so I posted it here:

BTW, does anyone know where I can buy one of these in case KC tells me I have to buy an entire kit?

Thanks, Jack, but I want to use the same nomenclature that KC uses just to make sure there's not another mix up. Can you read that product page and tell me what they're calling the retaining ring?

They are calling them piston rings, probably because that is what they look like. But they are retaining rings.

Just an update. KC was very helpful. They suggested that maybe Razzi had the seals reversed, but after talking to him, I think the kit came with two small rings. KC is expressing one of each to me. Hopefully, Razzi has time to finish it up this week. He was nice enough to give me a spare turbo he had so I can get back on the road, but I'd rather not have to install one twice, and I don't have a trip booked yet anyway.

Dang, I'm a bit worried. I haven't hauled since spring, and since then, the load board has shrunk. Hardly any loads on there. Not sure what that's about. Thinking I may have to re-invent my career yet again.
