You have a good heart Jim, some people take advantage of a kind heart, don’t change the way you are but others need to dap to your ways, Homeless is bad enough but trying to have all their belongings with them is tougher , I don’t really know your Situation at hand , sounds rough and I don’t have any prize winning solutions,
this site just kicked me off again had to go to the restore something .
Yes, I know I have a kind heart. And I know that being homeless sucks. I have been homeless myself many times in the past, but God willing, never again.I have always managed to put my stuff in storage during those times, and they have been lucky enough to get a storage unit. Actually two. The first one that was too small, and the second one which can hold everything else. Now if the boyfriend would get off his bottom and move their stuff to storage, I would be happy. These next two days I will be throwing stuff out, and moving whats left to storage. Then they can keep it there as long as they want. I will be done keeping it here except the fish tank. I have no problem feeding their fish.
Good luck with your storage issues Jim. Remember the words of Gilda Radner: "It's always something!"
The spigot turned off abruptly around 9PM last night, and we haven't seen a drop since. Clear and bright out there right now, except for a pretty thick fog bank down by he coast. It looks like it's going to be a sunny day! Next on my agenda is to haul out the recycling.
I’m hoping all of the southern members are having a good day.
The Weather really shifted in the last 12 hours and I can feel it in all of my pins and scars today. It looks like we are in for more cold and wet up here and maybe snow back to the valley floor.
Happy Saturday Nor Cal.
Well, I was able to make a storage run yesterday, and now there is only a small amount of mostly soft bags of clothes, with only a couple of boxes, the big TV and the bike left to take up. Should be a piece of cake. Looks like the boyfriend will be going into rehab on Monday, so I will have my 18 year old grand daughter with me again, for the next 2 to 3 months.
Hope that's a good thing for you Jim. Some of my 18 YO relatives have been a joy, and others not so much.
I was just checking wunderground, and we are almost to 7" of rain since the rain started. Over an inch yesterday, and 8/10" since midnight. Pretty good winds too, Averaging 15-20 with gusts to 49.

No I have plenty of excess body fat and I stay warm most of the time. I like the rain, and now that 90% of everything is moved into storage, I don't care if it pours. I won't be out in it.
Well, in my case, having my 18 year old grand daughter here with me for 3 months is a good thing. We get along great, and she is a joy to have around.

Wednesday is Taco Salad day @ Una Mas. Is a taco on Wednesday okay? Safeway has Five Dollar fried chicken on Friday. Round Table has all you can eat pizza Monday through Friday. Now I have to figure out the rest of the week.
