Cup holder ideas?

My truck is a xlt with the column shift and a console. The space where the shifter would go is driving me nuts as it does not have a cup holder insert. Its the perfect place for a cuup though As much as id love to swap in the shifter its just is not in the plans at least in the foreseeable future. Has anyone found a good cupholder remedy?

You can contact this guy, Baxzilla, and ask how easy it is to swap in the SuperDuty top portion of the console.
It has a slider that leaves your cubby hole...or slides over to make 2 additional cup holders. There is a video of how it works in post #5.

On the right is 2 cup holders. On left is a hole of about the same size as the cup holders but open

I just ordered another right side cup holder and swapped it for the left side cubby. I believe it was 50.00 for the parts from Tasca.

The extra shifter compartment is way more valuable to me than more cup holders, especially with the hidden compartment underneath the false floor. Theres already 2 more cup holders in the rear for the back seats.
Still interested in seeing what the mod looks like though.

The Super Duty mod gives you both, on demand.
I still wish I had the column shifter....too bad Lubbockguy is in Lubbock....I’d trade him my console shifter parts for his column shifter parts.

Generally i have at least 2 cups. My wife almost always brings a drink then also gets a drink. And with kiddos the back ones are full. Im sick of spilling drinks. I need to look up the single rt side cup holder part. I might try to make some sort of a silicone base out of one so i could remove it if i wanted. Probably wouldnt but hell you never know
