I have yet to see where I can buy factory switches. From the looks of the roof console, it seems the switches are molded into the console?
If I was better at using the search I would pull up some threads for you. It does require replacement of that upper console. Its not the cheapest way to have switches, I wanna say it's in the $300 range.

just did some in-depth searching on google. Seems the console is about $400, + $250ish for the wiring harness, relays etc etc. That’s a lot of coin to drop for some switches 😳
I need something that is a cheaper solution if possible.

That's alot more than I recall seeing. Upfitter switches were one of the options I was willing to forgo if I found a truck with everything else I wanted. Reason was, that I had read it was fairly easy to add, and from what I remembered it was under $400 total. It's been awhile though, I just dont think I would have even considered it for $600-700.
I never actually had to source parts because I found a truck that had all the options I wanted, but here's a thread with some info and pricing. You will notice various different prices, some paying the dealer to do it, others ordering the parts and doing it themselves. On the low end based on that thread, it looks like parts could be sourced for around $360. Some other parts invoices show well over $400, but not $600-700 for parts alone. Maybe parts pricing has increased since then. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...2017-sd-9.html

I was up for a few hours last night reading your link and then the links within the links LOL.... It does seem possible to add up fitter switches, but from what Ive read it appears to be a real PITA!! Find this wire here, dig around there, remove this etc etc.. I hate to start hacking into my new truck.
I did find this on amazon. Seems solid thats plug n play.
For non-oem - As fritz said, look into switch panels. A turnkey solution that wouldn't require having to wire a harness for each switch would be a Feniex 4200 Mini. Really nice interface and you just make your connections for power and ground and go.
Try this company, They also sell a 6 switch if 8 is to many. I believe they are less expensive that most I use this in my truck and like it very much.
