Want to eliminate the “Auto Power Down” feature on my 67 F-250. Kind of annoying.
When driving the drivers window will “rattle down” 1/2” or so unless you drive with you hand on the crank. If you have the window half way open and close door, it will spin down fully (auto power down).
What is worn in the regulator? Whole thing or is there some specific parts that are the culprit. Up side is it goes up and down smoothly!

As a stop-gap measure, you can also just index the crank so that gravity works in your favor - so that the handle is is at "two o'clock" when the window is rolled up. I did this on my passenger's side, which has the original regulator, and it keeps the window up.
Um, am i missing something here? How can a window have a crank and a regulator?
Im picking up a 81 econoline with 29k original miles on it. he says power windows dont work. Its 95+ degrees today and Id like a little airlow. Anything you can think of to cause both power windows to be inoperable tha is an easy fix? Ive already read the fuse commentinthis thread but anything else?

81, 29000 miles - probably tons of restriction in the whole system from lack of use. Motors might still be good, just shutting off as soon as you hit the switch and they grunt.
Try cleaning and lubing it all up and maybe you'll get lucky
