My passenger side window has been moving alot slower than my driver side window. And you can hear a distinctive rubbing noise when it goes down. Before I tear in to it has anyone had this problem or done any power window servicing? Just want some advice.
Also try lubing the window runs at the front and back of the window. The runs are where the window slides up and down in. Silicone spray or WD40 will work. Dont use anything thicker than that.
hey zeke,
have you tampered with the door before, cause theres a part called the money clip that holds the strip snug inside the door, take the door panel off and put some grease on the regulator, I posted a thread a couple up to the mirror thread and theres some info on how to take the panel off, Good luck! Dskarl
DSKARL, Sorry my reply took so long I havent got a chance to check my post lately but I will try that out. Is there some where, where I can get a picture of what that regulator looks like. Knowing me I'd end up greasing the window. Thanks again
i had a dragging/slow window and the silicon spray suggested by racerguy fixed it. i gave it several light sprays over a 4 day period and the problem disappeared.
