I am still having trouble with my 1995 F150 4.9 M5OD starting when I push in clutch..
I replaced the clutch interlock switch last year, but still having trouble. To all my fellow Ford Truck forum members:
Can any one please post a picture of the jumper plug that you may have gotten from a wrecking yard?
I went to wrecking yard today and looked at three F150's that had automatic trans in them, but under dash area I could not locate the jumper plug, partly because I am not exactly sure what I was looking for, and most likely because someone else got to it before me?!.
Thank you very much in advance for all your time and effort spent on my behalf!!
Did mine last year, just left it connected to switch but cut & spliced together the first 2 large wires. Cruise control still works . Checked a couple u pull junkyards but couldn't find any of the jumpers either.
I found it located up under speedometer area.
The plug is held in by a plastic wire clip that goes into metal dash part.
It's kind of hidden but since we now know what it looks like, it can be spotted.
Bring a flashlight, and a small screwdriver to pry the clip lose. (not the jumper plug itself)
