Anyone have a spares list for fuses, relays? (6.2 gas if it makes a difference) I do quite a bit of remote stuff and would at least like to have a couple key things in the just in case box for any main fuses/relays? Fuel pump fuses/relays? Starter fuel pump/relays? Anything else? (not really talking about tools, zip ties, and duct tape - but specific ford spares)
I carry a couple of extra IPhone chargers and an extra tube of carmex. Does that count? I do have a tool kit with some fuses and a tire plug kit, but for anything major, I'll let my extended warranty cover it.
The only truck part I carry is a spare plastic plug for the water separator. I’ve never lost a fuse or relay in any vehicle that kept me off the road. Seems there’s always another similar item from a non-critical system that can be swapped in.
A good code reader would be the best, as it would at least tell you where to start looking.
Most of your "break downs" on modern vehicles is due to some stupid sensor, a wiring issue, or the computer freaking out.
I keep a pack of fuses, a tire plug kit, a code reader, and a basic wiring kit among the other tools I have.
A spare serpentine belt would be a good idea too. Maybe a few spare plugs and coils (for a misfire situation)...
