Looks like it is rusty around where the window goes as well. Might need a new cab. Anything is fixable I guess. I have seen worse come back to life. Value? Whatever you think it is worth. That is a large project for sure.
Given enough time & money any thing can be fixed.
I know that body was only made a few years and think not many in each year so that does add some value to it but worth $1000 only you can say for sure.
I would say look the rest of the truck over really really good for other rust.
If it is just the body, frame is ok, who will be doing the repairs?
I am guessing if you asked you will not be doing them your self.
I would find another roof in good shape if you can but don't go cutting that one off just yet.
Also come up with good glass as you will need it for making sure all is good and will fit.
I also don't know if Ford has body measurements in the factory books? If so see if you can get them for the windows on the truck.
Now if you don't have the tools or know how take it to a frame shop and have them pull that roof back into shape.
They will need the glass and measurements to see if it is in the right place.
Once it is back in place you can decide if you want to replace the roof or fix what you have and go from there.
I do have to say that will be one heck of a project if you take it on
