4x4 feels liking its binding
I have a 2019 XLT Ranger 2019 4X4 when making slow turns in 4H it feels like the front tires are binding or hoping, took it to the dealer and had the service manager go for a ride and he claims that is normal for all Ford 4X4 trucks? I have had other small 4x4 and never felt that before. Is it normal?
What other small 4x4's did you have, Ron? Note that the Ranger is "part time" 4x4 and does not have a 4A (automatic 4WD) that can be used on pavement. Most small AWD vehicles (some are called 4x4) have "full time" 4x4 that has a center differential. The Ranger's 4H and 4L modes would be usable only on loose surfaces. Read the owner's manual about how to use 4x4 on the Ranger.
