Talking update, maybe to help others

I recently posted that I was having trouble getting the bolt loose from inside the lower radiator hose that holds the water pump on a 239..
After several attempts and a few cuss words, I asked a friend and he said that a 14mm ( which I hate metric) was just a shade smaller than a 9/16 and I might try that. I had to jam the metric onto the bolt head but it finally broke free and I got it out. was also informed that when I replaced the bolt at this location, to put in a stainless steel bolt to preclude the rusting of it if and when I had to take it out again. Hope, this will help others in the same fix. If I haven't said it before, thanks to all that responded.

Be sure to use anti seize on the stainless bolt and I recommend not to use impact wrench on stainless bolt, they have a tendency to gall the threads pretty quickly
