4x4 not working
I have a 2006 Ford F250 4x4 and the 4x4 stopped engaging when we switch it in the cab, we checked the actuator motor, switch & relays and they all tested good. What's weird is that we can get it to switch when we go through the scanner without issue but we get nothing with the switch. If we hadn't tested the switch I would have said that was the problem but testing it with the computer it comes back as good. Any suggestions or pointers for what to look at?

had this problem once and the issue has a crack in the sleeve of the **** that slides onto the shaft. when you turn the ****, the crack opens and the **** turns but the shaft does not.
the fix was to pull the **** and trick it open so the crack opens,,,then put a bit of super glue in the crack with a straight pin.
