Been replaced in past 5kmiles
All oem ford parts
Injectors, turbo, icp, tranmission
Replaced past 500 miles just as a precautionary
Oil rail seals and nipples, hpop system seals, ipr, hpop
Hot idle ipr 21% 640 psi
Crusing 80 mph about 1800 rpm ipr 45% 2100 psi
Highway on ramp accerating 2800 rpm and under ipr will stay around 50-65% pressure gets up to around 3400 psi
wot ipr goes to 84% hits and holds 3100 psi regardless of rpm speed, acceleration seems to stay steady doesnt drop off
Question Is this a system oil pressure issue
Or is this because of the canned sct tune
Just with factory injectors I dont think I should be maxing the hpop out and has me concerned
It is best to "pop" the screen off and push the pintle in and out to see if there is anything inside the valve (as SmackDaddy mentioned). There probably isn't anything inside if the screen is intact, but checking is the thorough approach IMO.
Edit - Others may have a better feel for it, but a particle that is 1/8 by 1/8 may not sound like much, but it might be enough to affect the top-end performance.
Start around the 9:00 minute mark on cleaning. It also mentions verifying the o-ring is good.
