Intermittent low boost
I have a 08 F350 full delete. EGR/dpf. Spartan tuner running the 210 tune. Did a short block 10k miles ago and a rev max trans 3k miles ago. Along with turbo rebuilds and billet wheels. So the truck runs like great for a wile sometimes 10 minutes and other time hours then all the sudden it won’t make boost and runs sluggish. Normal boost is up to 35-40psi. When it’s sluggish I can’t get 20psi.
ebp sensor is 2.9 wile it’s running like a turd.
usually at 4.5
the other thing I noticed is the FRP will go from 4900-5100 at idle wile running normal to 5700-5800 when it’s sluggish.
I get the boost position sensor A code sometimes as well.
I have checked for boost leaks and see none. manifolds don’t have soot. New up pipes. All connections look good. New fuel filter as well.
many help would be greatly appreciated. I have taken it several shops and no one has answers. I’m in Las Vegas NV if anyone can recommend a shop or give advice.
