My 2013 F-350 SWR pulls to the left after I hit a curb.
To a void an accident, I hit a 18” curb with my passenger side going about 30mph. It hit hard enough to break the passenger rear axle block and un-center the rear axle. I replaced that and took it in for an alignment. Shop told me I needed tie rods, which I replaced and return for the alignment. Shop told me the frame was twisted. Took to a frame shop, they said frame was perfect to realign at a different shop. Dealership shop told me alignment was good but I needed new tires. Replaced the tires and rims from another F350 and still pulling left.
Any ideas? I’ve got the results from two different alignment shops, both showing a good alignment. It’s back at the dealership shop but they can’t find anything wrong. Any ideas besides a gas can and a match? Thanks
keeping in mind that I’m no mechanic, is it possible that the replacement real axle is off center a bit still, or not installed correctly? if so, maybe that would make the front end feel like it’s being pulled by the rear.
It’s constantly pulling left, no difference when braking, accelerating or coasting.
The rear axle blocks have a raised dowel to center under the leaf spring. Would be pretty hard to get wrong but I ask the shop.
Was it a four wheel alignment? When I couldn't get a pull worked out I always rotated tires side to side never hurts to try. A perfect alingment can still have a pull and many times it's a tire even though your tires are new.
