alignment nightmare question

I wrote a few days ago about being unable to fix problem with f150 pulling to the right after three alignments and rotating and changing both wheels and tires several times, as well as having brakes checked and rotors turned. My last alignment guy told me that the problem was not in the front end but that the rear end was out of alignment causing the pickup to pull to the right. I guess this makes sense as everything on the front of the vehicle that could be checked was checked. Called an frame alignment shop today and they said they would look at it next week. Anyone else had something like this as this has been an ordeal. I didn't know the two wheel drive pickup could have a rear alignment issue but I guess it possible. Anyone out there know anything about this. Thanks

Im not sure if they make something like this.. but maybe they make something that goes inbetween the centering pin and the axle pad and moves the axle a couple of degrees forward or backward?

Correct me if I am incorrect, but if your rear axle is not aligned to the truck, your truck would "dogwalk" down the street and that is easy to see if you follow your truck in another vehicle. You could visually check to see if the rear wheels are centered in the wheelwells both on a side view and a rear view, and using a tape measure you could compare side to side dimensions to get an idea. Once you determine the problem, then you can make the proper adjustments.

Dog walking is if the whole axle shifts. What he means is is the frame is twisted and the axle is actually "facing" one side of the truck or the other. This is known as "Thrust Angle". If it was put on an alignment machine, you would be able to see what this spec is. What were the alignment specs post alignment? Many shops just get the #'s into green(spec) and let it go. If you actually know how to read the #'s, you can determine if it will pull one way or the other. If Camber is at opposite ends of spec, it will pull left or right.
How are the tires worn? I see that you've rotated tires, did the pull change after rotation or did it stay the same?

alignment prob

After three alignments changing wheels and tires, even new tires and wheel on the right side the truck still pulls. The alignment guy said he could adjust the front end some more but there was a definite problem other than the front alignment and believed it to be in the rear suspension. I am going to have a friend of mine drive the truck and see if there is anything visible I can see. All of this resulted from the flat and the truck is 01 pampered truck and it surprises me all of this resulted from a flat as the truck went straight as an arrow before the flat. I will update this post when I hopefully get a definite diagnosis. Thanks for your input.
