Now that the weather is turning to wet and cold here I'm noticing that I'm having issues seeing clearly in reverse while using the backup camera when it's really raining. Basically, I'm wondering if there is something I can do to get the rain to clear off of the camera. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
Also, in a really good frost my backup sensors will indicate that there is something near the truck while I'm in reverse when nothing is there at all. Anyone else having this issue? Normally, I can take care of this by simply wiping them off before I get in the truck. It's no big deal really, just checking.
I love this truck! Best vehicle I've ever owned. . . . .
I find that it helps to keep a rag handy (next to or wrapped around the ice scraper), and I wipe off the reverse camera lens before lift off. Keeps it clean enough for the "next time".
Can't help on the reverse sensors. A good reason to be skeptical of self driving cars I think.
