Knocking/pinging

Knocking/pinging
What is this knocking I'm getting? There is zero knocking at idle or when revving in neutral. Only while accelerating. Not while cruising at constant speed. To me it sounds like pre detonation. Bad timing? Bad fuel?
It's done this since I bought it a couple months ago. Drove it home 1,500 miles with a cracked head. Installed new heads, 4 injectors, turbo, intake manifolds and Tyrant tow tune. No idea what tune was on it before. So far about 100 miles on it since new parts.
Starts right up. Runs smooth. Tons of power but does seem to have some hesitation when you put your foot in it.
