I have been working on a 76 for about 9years off and on getting pretty close to finishing, trying to get my heat working and I do not remember where the vacuum line at heater valve goes to to, would love some help
No pics working from scratch most of the original parts were lost or thrown away this was pretty much a frame off but over a 9 year stretch and move my heating and ac business in the middle of it and that’s where truck was in pieces
Anyone out there own a 1976 F100 360 with factory a/c
Factory installed integral A/C is combined with the heater, the A/C controls are in the same panel as the heater controls.
Large evaporator case located at the right (passenger side) rear corner of the engine compartment.
1973/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco: Bolted to the backside of the A/C/Heater control panel is this:
D5TZ-19B888-A (replaced D3TZ-19B888-A) .. A/C Vacuum Control Selector Valve Assy - Includes the "kicker" switch that turns on the A/C (Motorcraft YH-285) / Obsolete ~ 100+ available NOS
All the vacuum hoses from the blend door motors and the heater water valve connect to this valve.
