Hello I just bought a 69 F100. It has a 390 FE big block and I need an alternator bracket and power steering bracket. I can’t find any anywhere. Only ones I can find are through CVF racing and they want $100 each bracket. Can another bracket fit my 390 from a smaller motor? Need help finding some please

 

With or without factory A/C?

Brackets are the same as the 360, may be the same as 1968/71 390/428 from a car.

But w/ or w/o A/C makes a difference. Plus, there should be TWO P/S pump brackets, possibly TWO idler pulleys.

 

No factory ac. So I can order them based off a 360? A 360 small block would fit my 399 FE?

 

Sorry don’t know if I replied or not but a 360 small block alternator and power steering bracket would fit my 390 FE? I really would be relieved if it does bc it’s not easy finding them.

 

360/390 are FE engines, the 360 uses the same block/heads as the 390, the only difference is the stroke. No such thing as Ford small or big blocks, these are GM terms.

I'll look up the part numbers, give you the info, but these parts are been obsolete for decades, so will only be available used or possibly NOS...if I can find any.

Look at this pic, notice there are two P/S pump brackets: 3C511 & 3A732 .. 302 parts are not the same.

 

The 360fe is the same block as the 390fe. Its not a small block. Which alternator bracket are you looking for? The lower bracket holds the alternator in place and the top bracket it for the tensioning.

 

I need both brackets for the alternator and power steering bracket. Thank you again for your help I truly appreciate it.
