king pins

Can anyone recommend a machine shop in the DALLAS / FORT WORTH area to ream out the new bushings for a king pin replacement?

I can’t recommend a shop, but you can get a small master cylinder hone and slowly work it until the king pin slips in.

It's not that difficult to do and you can find a reamer specifically for that purpose cheaper than you can pay someone. Plus, it will be done to your spec's not over-reamed. Don't use a brake hone, as the upper and lower bushings need to be exactly in-line with one another. Adjustable reamers are made specifically for that purpose. There are threads on FTE showing how to do this, and maybe even a member who will pass on his reamer or rent it to you....do your search here and you'll learn a lot.
