Bfg TA KO2 DT?
I am curious on anyone's ride reports with the DT version. I'm about to pull the trigger on the KO2 and just realized that there was a longer tread wear version called the DT and have not found a lot of solid information on it's capability's on snow and ice or a comparison vs the non DT version. I know the DT is not snow flake rated but appears to still be referred to as a M+S tire. My truck: 2017 f250 6.2 ccsb. Im looking at 285-65-20 OR 295-65-20. Currently have 67,000 on stock michelins. Thanks!

It has a slightly harder tread compound designed for longer wear which is why it's not rated with the snowflake symbol. I can't speak for the DT version however, I have been running the snowflake version of the K02's for many years across multiple vehicles and am happy with them. If you don't travel much in snowy conditions, the DT is probably a decent choice for everything else including light snow. I only run the snowflake symbol because where i live, I can avoid having to chain up on the mountain passes if my tires are snow rated and I am in 4WD.
