IMHO, ticking means nothing. Could be injectors, could be anything. A tick doesn't mean anything is wrong. Just drive it and enjoy. That's what I do. Life is much better this way.

Some early engines had an issue with oil consumption; a design issue with the PCV system that was resolved with a redesign a few years back.
Go to youtube and search "Ford 6.2L problems" and you'll see how very few videos there are concerning issues with this engine.
