Ok, I can't find it if it's been covered and I'm sure it has. So 99-16 beds are interchangeable with slight difference.. and I know I read that the 17+ have different mounting holes.. but has anyone tried to swap a 17+ bed on a 99-16? I'm sure the body lines May differ a bit but if it's just a matter of drilling new mounting holes then that's not a very big problem. Reason I as is I can't find a bed anywhere close to me without them wanting and arm and a leg and on top of that I would have to paint it too. But I have seen the newer ones going for less money and there is one that's already my color as well. So biggest question is what all is different and has anyone tried to make it work yet?
It's been covered. They don't bolt in. If you can cut/weld, fabricate your own brackets then it shouldn't be a problem. Any fabricator can do it. Otherwise it would be worth the money to get what fits. 20+ hours in fabrication time to save a few hundred dollars for a product that looks worse in the end doesn't make sense.

I agree. I think someone went to the trouble to put one on some time back. It looked as bad as it would have if they had put on a Chevy or Ram bed.
