I'd like to order a replacement part for my '64 F100 passenger vent window. I don't know the name of it...but on the part diagram it's number is 22952.
What is it's name?
How would I search it on the web...1964 Ford F100 Right Vent window pivot? Hinge?
Does anyone have a good for little parts like this?
I've searched for the entire window...I can't locate another one...operator error?
I'd like to order a replacement part for my '64 F100 passenger vent window.
I don't know the name of it...but on the part diagram it's number is 22952 Invalid part number for trucks. 22952 is the basic part number for the vent window pivot for 1961/67 E100 (Econoline).
The parts catalog pic you posed is onlyrelated to E100 (Econoline). So, not only is the number wrong, the pic of the pivot is also wrong.
Your pic has an incomplete caption (applications), don't know if you did that or it's how you found it. Edit: I posted this same Econoline pic in post #3.
Look at the F100/1100 pic (below) from the 1964/72 truck parts catalog. Basic part number is 21464

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any NOS, none on ebay. Not reproduced AFAIK
Pic: 21408 is the vent frame/weatherstrip retainer / 21464 is the pivot bracket / 21448 is the vent window weatherstrip / 21608 is the vent frame.
I totally messed that one up...thank you for catching that!
I had originally googled something like 1964 ford F100 passenger vent window and hit that diagram. I didn't realize it was for a van...:O
So the part I am actually looking for is 21464 is the pivot bracket...is anything like that available?

I listed the part number (C3TZ-8121464-A) in post #2 along with its applications, but no one has it.
The piece that is shown as broken off in post #1 is not the part ND is referring to. The bracket was available separately, but that chunk that broke off is not the bracket but is part of the vent frame.
I can see that piece on your frame is broken in half - leaving the riveted portion on the inside of the frame. Here's an NOS frame and closeup of the riveted on pivot. The close observer will see there is one inside the paper bag, too.
The bracket in my previous post sits in the pivot - which is what is broken on your frame.
If I have not sold it already, my Ranger had a good passengers side frame - I can try to find it as a possible good user replacement. Let me know and I'll see if it is around here.

I just saw your post...I popped in on ebay, not expecting to find anything. I've been looking for awhile.
I found a vent window plus pivot with that female hinge in place.
Thanks again.

TA455HO...If you've still got the frame with cup/hinge part, I'd be interested. need 65 f100 passenger side
I was able to find it and took a couple of pictures. My camera is quasi-broken on my phone so not the greatest - the glass covering the camera lenses broke and let some dust/dirt in so I get a few spots on the pictures from that, then the image stabilization must have crapped out since it never focuses quite right. Thankfully, I've got AppleCare so I can go get a replacement phone here soon.
Threads and splines are good as is the cup portion of the hinge that is riveted to it. All seems in good shape. I have not removed all of the glass tape that held the vent glass in the channel. I have used a heat gun before to soften the tape and it usually comes right out. Just hadn't gotten me, the heat gun and the frame in the same place at the same time yet.
Glass setting tape will be better than inner tube. The setting tape has a bit more friction / tackiness, and it holds its shape a bit after it's formed.
Don't worry about what car make it's advertised for. The critical element is tape thickness. Measure the outside dimension of the glass and the inside gap of the holder using calipers. Do the math. Subtract the glass thickness from the inside width and divide by two. That will be the thickness of tape you need.
I've got a couple miles of the stuff in a drawer because I kept getting the wrong thickness until I figured this out.
thanks for the reply-I thought it was pretty dumb advertising for different vehicles.
I finally met an older than me hot rodder….he said he’s used Window Weld. I’ll stick with the tape. I hate to stick the window and not have the option to get it out for some future reason.
i’ve been trying to find it locally-no joy.
Hoping to help the locals if possible.
