I'm looking to buy a 2012 f350 super duty 6.7 TD CC LB 4X4. I'll be pulling a 12,500 lb. 5th wheel trailer. My question is how many miles is too many for this truck? I'm new to diesels and from what I've heard diesels last longer than gas engines, but with no personal experience, I need some help from you diesel experts. If you were buying this truck how many miles would cause you to shy away from the truck?

I have 115000 miles on my 2012 F-250 6.7L and the last 14k was pulling our 36ft gooseneck loaded back and forth across the country. The only reported weak link on the 2012 is the turbo ceramic bearings but have had no trouble with mine so far. I bought it new but if I was shopping for another I would look at getting a 2015-2016 if money permitted as they have the bigger turbo and newer CP4 pump. But if the 2012 has had all timely scheduled service work done I would not be afraid to pick it up.

I would agree that anything around 80 to 120K would be acceptable with proof of maintance.
Keep in mind with those miles a front end inspection is needed to ensure the suspension is no wore out.
