Shifting Issue

Good morning,

So my truck has recently been acting weird while driving. For instance, I'll be driving 60mph, and the truck will raise in RPM's about 100/200rpms and then drop back to normal. Well, this went on for about a week and now it is shifting weird (acts like it wants to go into neutral between shifts). Sometimes it will even drop into neutral for about two seconds and go back into gear for no reason, I am not going uphill or pressing the gas any different. The transmission fluid is fine, and it is not griding at all.

Before I take it into the transmission shop, is this possibly a sensor or something that anyone has come across before?

The transmission in your truck is the E4OD. The 7.3l uses a Fuel Injection Pump Lever to control the transmission. It may need to be adjusted. Check out this post.
