I want to know what you could classify as your dream ride and if at one time, you knew anyone that had one. Here is mine.
My father had a Mach mustang with a 427 in it that was a fastback and a nice shade of blue. It had a four speed and he would tell me stories about this vehicle and how he would drive in second and break the rear wheels loose at will, because of the horses. I know that it would only get about. Of course when the kids came around he had to get ride of it for another car which he did and told the person that he sold it to that he should be vary careful about the car and get used to the power.
A sideline is that my father would race huey’s (UH-1’s) around a course and he would often win that race. (He was in the Army as a pilot.) (Too many stories) My father told me that about a month later he heard that the person took the car out and hit about 100mph when he lost control and literally wrapped it around a telephone pole and killed himself. Well maybe it was good that I did not have that car, but Dang I would LOVE to have that ride right now and I would drive in the summer in Arizona without A/C!
Hard to put myself in just one "dream ride". LOL I have a few cars I wish I could own. Some my dad has owned or has told me of.

Better ask him again, The 69-70 Mach I came with a 428, The 427 was basically race car engine & very few were available to the basic Assembly line.
I've seen a Cougar with one,
I did ask him that when I researched it and he said it was a 427 and it was a project car from ford that a dealer in Oklahoma had and sold to my dad. This was a Cosworth engine correct? That is one of the reasons why I would love to have this car.
GT40 race version is one of my faves.
68 Camaro SS...blue with white...
(another) 63 Nova SS...
72 Ranchero is another good one...
Buick Grand Nat...
Plymouth Superbird...
59 Merc Monterey...or Montclair...
Most Fords pre-73...
Anything with fins & chrome...
Anything my dad used to own...
I decided long ago I'd need a 437-car garage to fit everything I wanted, this is just a few.
Oh yeah, as long as I'm dreaming, I want that Mako Shark 'Vette. Just because.
My dads 1970 boss 429 mustang (sold it for 15Gs back in mid 80s had a sour motor and i was on the way) it would pop wheelies with slicks on the rear (the hemi was put out 500+ hp in stock form other than intake/dual carbs and exhaust along with 5.13s)
my other would be my truck and about $50000 (429/427sohc nascar race hemi or a blown clevo, air suspension, overdrive unit, toploader 4sp, custom intom and paint, one piece tilt front end, and enough shiny parts to a point that it can't be in the sun for pictures)
Ford made 429 SOHC Hemis (shot-gun Hemi). Dont know if put in the stang. Seen one in a mid-60 Ford family car. Its at my local speed shop. I drool on that car every chance I get. That motor is HUGE. I was told that even chebby made a few hemis. Same speed shop supposedly had one in a yellow roadster. I saw it and it didnt look anything like a SOHC or mopar motor.
To add a few more to my dream list.
65 chevelle with the Z-16 option
70 Charger Daytona Hemi
87 Buick GN T-type
69 Shelby Cobra stang
70 Cougar Eliminnator
72 AMC AMX mean green car 390 with body color bumpers
95 Ford Lightning White please
I too would need a large whare house for my rides.....
