Original Aluminum body Cobra 427
Kit car Cobra 427, 428 turbocharged.
Have seen a couple Cobras on ebay that would curl your teeth to floor it. They may not be the best handling car in the world, but man are they pretty.
A 69 or 70 Shelby 428 Mustang, 4 speed, 3.50 gears.
68 Falcon, 302 - 4 speed. 3.50 gears, 2 door with post. ( I had one and it was the quickest car I ever made the mistake of selling. My brother built it from a 6 cyl, auto, 4 bolt wheels and converted everything to 5 bolt wheels and the 3.50 gears.
I also would need a 49 car garage if I had all the machines my wee lil heart desires.
hummm...
1967 GT Fastback Mustang with a 427 Cobra jet engine. Jet Black paint 2 deep blue racing stripes. and so many other goodies (I would love to build one of these).
2003-4 F-250 Crew cab short box 4x4 6L turbo Powerstroke
Austin Martin DB-7 or a Vanquish.
GT-40
Dream car falls into a few years...........65-67 chevelle I would accept any year mentioned. The model convertible, SS, non-SS, malibu any one of those would do, I am not picky. Since its my dream only requirement is it would have to have a blown 572 with a 6 speed tranny, need I mention tubbed 9" rear end. Color could be whatever, hell with a setup like that I would drive it with a pink paint job, well maybe. Knew a few people who have owned different models of chevelles.
Dream truck would be a 56 ford f-100 with a custom extended cab and the usual blown 514 with a strong standard tranny and tubbed rear. Again color makes no difference. Later
>Ford made 429 SOHC Hemis (shot-gun Hemi).
Accutally Ford made 2 hemis. The first one was an all out race motor for pro stockers and that was the 427 SOHC (it has the worldest longest timing chains) Then there was the 429 hemi with a couple of it made. One was the full hemi version for nascar (banned after 1 year) then there was the "semi" hemi (you would have to see pictures for combustion camber to see understand) for the Mustangs to full Nascar rules (its rummored that a couple 429 hemis got into a couple of Cougers)
Top car on my dream list is a 1969 BOSS 429 Mustang, any color. Second on the list is a Cobra kit car with a Vortec supercharged big block (500+ cubes) Third on the list is a Viper, very fun car to drive.
65 Mustang, 351, 5 speed, rack and pinion stearing. Just a slight improvement on the original. No check engine lights, no computers, just basic, reliable transportation.
wow its funny how many people talk about shlebys and mustangs and engine sizes and get alot wrong! lol
non of the shleby mustangs were cobras, the cobras were the markII body cars with the 289 or the 427, the only place it said cobra on the shelby cars was on the vlave covers of the 428.
now my dream car would be a factory original 67 shelby gt500 427 side oiler ( not to many of those produced only a special run of a few were made in specialty shops) with the twin supercharger option on bill cosbys 67 hardtop gt 500
now that would be sweet!!! imagine having around 800 horses in a gt 500 *drooooooL*
right now theres a 66 gt hardtop in my garage thats really my favorite, shes gonna geta few engine mods and a new interior and new candy apple red paint
other dream cars...... saleen S7
boss 429 would be nice, its basically the essence of big power heavy weight muscle
