Digital Odometer Display
I have a 2000 Ford F150 xlt with the 4.2l v-6. I have owned the truck for about 2 years. Every since I had it the digital odometer comes on and off when it wants to. I have tried banging on top of the dash and the plastic in front of the gage cluster and it never works 
. The odometer even when it is not on still keeps the correct millage. But here lately it seems like it takes longer for the digital odometer to come on. It usually does not show up when you crank the truck. It takes a good bit of driving for it to come on. When it comes on it is bright green and no flickering in or out. Since it takes longer for it to show up now I am afraid it may stay off and not come back on one day.
Does anyone know what could be causing this or have any idea how to fix it. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated
