Expedition 2008 electronic back door problem?
Can I open the electric back door / tailgate only with the remote control key? How do I close the door electrically?

usually there is a button somewhere on the dash and on the tailgate itself

I couldn't find any button on the tailgate and it just amazed me

If it's like the Navigator, the _power_ lift gate can be turned on or off from the instrument cluster controls. If it's not actuating on it's own and only unlocking, that's the first place I would check.
