I have a new carpet install in my 1955 f100. My friend told me there is a finish ring I can put where the steering column goes thru the carpet. Does anyone know about this? I am pulling my column and clutch and brake pedals to make a clean install.
thanks
jerry
Are you talking about a finish ring like you can get for the high-beam switch? Something in finished metal whose main purpose is to look nice? Not sure I have seen anything like that. It would need to be a split ring assembly since there is not a good way to slip over stock column set-up.
If you steering column is modified, you might see if the aftermarket swivel floor to column billet mounts can be modified to work for you or give you an idea for something you can have fabricated.
