Stealth for 6.7

Has anyone tried one of the Stealth Programmers? Price seem right if it produces why they say it will. Seems odd those gains can be made without deleting. Thanks.

I know people who have, but I think for the money go with a Banks Derringer, look up some of the testing he's done, it kind of throws a curve ball into the inline tuner market

Hey Marty, in my humble opinion, I wouldn't waste your money. I went with one of a different name, DuraMileage I believe, and your mileage goes down as well as your mileage between regens. All that simple little circuit does is fool the ECM to add more fuel. That's all it does. Nothing more. If the "module" fails, your truck will go in limp mode. If you are towing up an incline, you will have major problems. Check this video out. I have the Banks Derringer tuner on my list but there are other items I want to buy first.

This video really changed my mind. That's why my module is sitting on a shelf in my house and I won't sell it. I would mail it to you as long as you would pay for shipping, but I won't because I don't want something to happen that could hurt you or your family if a failure were to happen.

The Banks videos that I've watched have all been informative and entertaining. While I have no intention of adding a tuner, it's still fun to watch what Banks has to say. He makes the other tuners look like a bunch of teenagers hacking electronics together in their garage.

I have a stealth Mod, love the thing. Noticed a big difference. Ive had mine for 2 yrs. Im unable to delete my truck, so i figured this was the next best thing. Even my wife noticed a difference with power. She hardly ever drives my truck. I just drove to az from CA last week. I was averaging 19mpg going 85. Im sure there are better ones out there but I'm really happy with mine. Also the owner Eric is really helpful with answering questions.

I'm glad you like it Dee. I noticed a slight difference with the DuraMileage on mine. But my mileage went down and the regen intervals got shorter. To say I'm a little skeptical about that mileage at 85 mph is an understatement. But I'm not going to argue with you.

These fuel boost boxes just fool the ECM into injecting more fuel for more power. There is just a one wire hook up to the fuel rail pressure sensor. When I was still on Facebook and had a chat with the founder's son on FB Messanger, he told me straight out that my mileage would not improve. I thought that was odd since that's exactly what they claim. I had already owned my module at that point. We were discussing the new modules that they currently have on their website now. They claim 30-60-90 hp levels for all brands. If they measure the horsepower and torque from the rear wheels where performance on the road is easily noticed (as they state on their site), why are the claimed power levels the same for all brands?

I looked into them and found out they had Dr. Performance modules back in the late 90's and 2000s for trucks. Doc Sadler, the Dr.Performance founder, is supposed to have some great fuel injectors. I know the guy has built world record engines with records that still hold today. But, IMHO, I don't believe all the hype with these modules. The DuraMileage brand I had was from these guys also. If you look at these pictures, Stealth and Dr.Performance have the same plastic box.

Dr.Performance

Your box.

My opinion is based on my experience with my DuraMileage module as I bought into the hype. As others are having different experiences with these new modules, all the power to them. But Banks clearly shows in this video that if the module fails, the fuel rail pressure sensor signal does not continue through the module and the truck goes back to stock, rather the truck goes into limp mode which could be a bad thing depending on what you are doing with it at that time.

Here's a another module that plugs into the fuel rail sensor line that fools the ECM into providing more fuel. I was actually online checking prices on the Airdog I want when I found this.

https://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com/231002/

Here's the actual site for the box. https://gdpproducts.com/product/2011...p-plug-n-play/

If you click on the manual link, it shows where it hooks up into the fuel pressure sensor.

I had it on my 2017 F250 and I noticed about 1.5 - 2 MPG gain with improved throttle response. Just put it on my 2014 F450 this evening and we will see if we gain again.

You guys seeing MPG increases: is that based on the inaccurate dash meter or hand calculating?
