Gear Indicator in display window
In my other thread I mention I just bought a 2016 F 250 XLT. It has the small color display in the center of the gauge console. When I drove it home I had it in Fuel Economy mode and the 6 gears were displayed on the far right side on the color display vertically with an orange square on the gear I was in. Now it has disappeared. I asked the dealer and he said it needs to be in Econo mode for that to display. I can find nothing about this in all the settings or in the user manual. Any ideas?

Push the + button on the shifter. You can limit it to certain gears. If you push the + button once, it will stay in first gear, twice and it will not go past second gear, three times, it won't go past third, etc. If you push it 6 times, you have full range of the transmission gears, and it shows 1-6 on the right side of the little screen. As the truck shifts, it will highlight what gear you are in. It is really for manual shifting of the trans, but if you push it 6 times and leave it, then it is no different than it being off.
