Amp placement.
Hello I have 2001 F-150 super crew lariat 5.4l under 7700 with 313,000 miles. I just recently upgraded all the door speaks and got some subs and a box. I have two amps to power the subs and speakers, but didn’t know where I should put the amps. The subs and box are going beneath the rear seat, and I’m trying to avoid putting it under driver or passenger seat. Has anyone mounted them to the back of the cab before? What are y’all’s recommendations. Thank you.

Yeah, that depends on how much heat they dissipate, how hot they are allowed to get, and how hot it gets in your cab.
If moisture is getting in there then definitely no . . . and you should find that leak.
