I have a 95 F150 4X4 with a e4od trans,5.8 engine,the problem I`m having is my speedo and odometer will just shut off,and of course,it shifts bad,then it will turn back on and everthing is fine,no fluctuating needle,I gotta figure its the psom going out or a loose wire some where,if the vss acts up,it shouldn`t turn off psom should it? it has done this 2 time,any ideas?
If the speedometer drops to zero AND the odometer goes blank you have a power supply issue, bad connection to the PSOM or the PSOM itself has a bad component.
thats what it did,any idea where to start looking?changed psom,where would I look for bad wires,computer? seemed to work but would like to know where to look next if it comes back
sorry,I should have explained better,I changed after it happened,since the old one was working at the time,I got no way to know if its fixed until it don`t happen again,how do I get diagrams of wiring for it/ thanks again

You get the diagrams of the PCB by reverse engineering it yourself. as several of us have already done.
The problem is you don't know exactly what is in the Motorola IC's as they were spec'd by ford and no data sheets are available to the General Public.
