Or do i need a proportioning valve?
Ford: Brake Pressure Differential Valve, your truck already has one (C8TZ-2B257-B), it's the same 1968/75 F100 4WD with or without power drum brakes.
All 1967 and later Passenger Cars, F100/350, Bronco and Econoline with dual master cylinders have it. There are myriad different types.
Can't speak to the proportioning valve (I used aftermarket with disc conversion) or the rod between the pedal and booster. Check the rod between the booster and master to make sure that it is the correct length. That's something that will have to be measured and adjusted for your booster master combo.

What year is the donor?
1967 F100/350: Brake & clutch pedals, bracket they suspend from, master cylinders, power brake boosters, brake pressure differential valves, low brake fluid warning lamp switch are 1967 only.
