OBDLink MX+ Software
So I got a great deal on an MX+. I have an Apple phone so I know no great access to FORScan or Torque Pro. So I’ll get a cheap android tablet. Here is my questions. Any specs I need to run either app? More importantly who makes each app so I know which one to download when I grab the android tablet?

I use just a cheap Polaroid brand tablet I picked up last black Friday for $25 at Walmart...runs torque pro and Forscan just fine and that's all I use it for...I have no idea what the spec's are but for $25 it can't be much...I would have liked to have used a fire tablet, but didn't feel like jailbreaking it to do it...not sure if amazon's playing more nicely with google these days and now you can access google play apps on their devices ... more of an iPad crew at our house anyway.

Both Forscan and Torque Pro are good programs. Just keep in mind that IOS and Android platforms are good for reading /clearing codes, but if you want to make system changes using Forscan you have to be running Forscan using Windows. IOS nor Android can write to the system, only read.
