So I was driving my truck hit the horn and it shut off and wouldn’t start. 😡 so I used a scan tool it cam up with me needing to replace my EGR and IAT sensor
And the inertia switch was popped. Reset and replaced those. But I’m not really hearing the fuel pump making that unique sound then shutting off after twenty seconds. Going to check fuses. Just wondering if any has had this issue or have any ideas why this happened. Great running truck then this happened out of know where.
To double check the fuel pump operation, pull the cap off of the secondary fuel filter, remove the filter, and turn the key on (be prepared to turn it off quickly). If the fuel pump is working, then the bowl will fill in 4-6 seconds. If the fuel pump is not operating, then you will need to start your electrical troubleshooting.
