Gauges randomly working
Hello all! Have a 2005 F350 v10 and my gauges are randomly coming on and off. sometimes all is fine for 30 minute drive...sometimes they cut off for a day - no rhyme or reason. when they go out, no gauges work, no radio, no window power. driving down the road they come on and then go off shortly after. at this point they are off more than they are on. Guessing there must be a short somewhere but no idea at this point. Anyone had this issue?

Does the radio also lose power when you lose the gauges? If so, remove the dashboard face panel and look at the top of the gauge cluster. You will see two harness connectors plugged into the cluster. Give a slight push/pull/wiggle on each and see if the the cluster is affected. If they drop in and/or out then you have a loose wire in the connector or a pin fitment issue from the connector to the cluster receptacle.
